“Oh John, this may be the most beautiful one yet — how you put it together, the story, the feelings, the place, the beauty — and the music was perfect; I loved it all. “
I don’t know when I’ve seen such heart-filled joyful romping. Fantastic, just amazing, I will watch this many times. And just at the end, Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer off to Treasure Island at a paddle. Then that spectacular paradise of flora bunda and stream (with NO aligators!), and the perfect ending shot of the whistle and yes. What a place you’ve found, and love of your life (both of you) in that fabulous doggy. I think, despite your remarkable adventuring life before, this maybe the summer into winter into forever of a lifetime. It’s beautiful.
Utterly delightful. One very well socialized pooch you’ve got there. You sure picked the perfect place to introduce her to the delights of the very best of canine life.
Well done for keeping a steady hand on the camera while the yellow dog (Coda?) was checking out the camera!! That made me laugh! I agree … a particularly beautiful play video, this one.
I think the spelling was “Kota”, as derived from ‘Dakota.’ Thanks for visiting and commenting. I, too, think this may have turned out to be our best video. It is difficult to get a beginning-middle-end when you just shoot spontaneous snippets on different days. 🙂

So wonderfully well-put, thanks. I too had thought of the Huck & Tom connection, but wasn’t able to work it into the video.

We’ve been on the road for a week now and she hasn’t been able to play with any dogs, which is breaking both of our hearts. 😦
