With Google Maps & assorted other Smartphone apps we are always able to find a place to play no matter what city we find ourselves in.
At this small park somewhere in the Midwest Tzuri begged me for a skateboard but all I could give her was a tennis ball.

Funny you should ask because we are all out of tennis balls right now and I can’t find a place to buy them. I saw some little kids playing tennis at a local park and thought about stealing theirs. 🙂

My generation invented the skateboard but I have to confess I have never been on one, even though I was a super jock in my day. 🙂

The skateboard ramps are perfect for letting the ball roll down and then chasing after it! I never thought of that! Tzuri is smart!

If Tzuri is going to excel at being a skater, you’re going to have to get her flexible flat-soled shoes with excellent grip. Then she’ll be ready for a trick or two. But personally, I like the tennis ball routine!

We are now in Montana and I don’t see many skateboard parks, maybe because there is snow and ice for so many months of the year. We’re into hiking now, and instead of tennis balls we carry bear spray.
