She drags me out of bed every morning rain or shine for a workout.
What she’s gaining in confidence I’m losing in pounds.
(22 lbs. in 6 months!)

Twenty-two pounds of confidence – wow! And how many pounds has she gained?

From 9 lbs when I got her to 53 lbs this week, however much that it. 🙂

The eager recruit, what a fabulous pup.
53 lbs is a lot of dog still on the grow.the
Glad to see she’s not dragging you out of bed into wilds of Yellowstone’s winter, which is no Naples (even if it rains).

Yellowstone’s winter is brutal. I follow reports daily of wolf-watchers there right now, morning to night, in the most horrible weather, with a passion just to see a wolf a mile away so they can log the event in their book and keep track of which pack does what. Tzuri told me she does indeed want to see some of her wolf-ancestors but not until summer. 🙂

Come to think of it, since Babba, my Samoyed, is 9 now and has a little bit of stiffness in one leg, I’ve gained weight. And here I was thinking it was all from Ronnie’s homemade Dundee Cake!! Tzuri is so beautiful!

Tzuri just plain wears me out. It may be that I have spoiled her, she doesn’t have any playmates but me, and I find it guilt-invoking if I dare refuse her solicitation to play.
Whatever, I have only just recently started admitting my age-related limitations, energy-wise. Difficult to do when one was an outstanding “jock” in days gone by. 😦
